PART 1 (12 Week)

  • Review of B1 Level Topics

Daily Life Conversations:

  • Meeting New Neighbors, Conversations Between Family Members or Co-workers.

  • Practice of compound verbs such as yapadur-, bakakal-, yapıver-, gitmeyiver-.

News:

  • Analysis of news language and main features; reading and discussing some news articles

  • Passive structures will be covered

Life in Turkey:

  • Health system/services, making appointments, health insurance, etc.

  • Explaining health problems to a doctor.

  • Talking about social media, artificial intelligence, television and other related topics; examining their role and degree of use in our lives

  • –DIk suffix function will be emphasized and –dIğInda, -dIğIndAn, -dIğIndAn dolayı, -dIkçA suffixes will be introduced (Part 1)

  • Talking About Social Media, Artificial Intelligence, Television and Other Related Topics; Examining Their Role and Degree of Use in Our Lives.

  • Introduction of the concept of indirect speech

  • The Most Famous Fashion Designers, Fabric and Pattern Names, Words Related to Clothing, Necessary Words Used in a Tailor Shop.

  • Turkish traditional arts: Reading a text and watching videos about Turkish traditional arts

  • Boyunca, süresince, -DiğI sürece, -DiğI zaman, -DIkçA, -IncA, -Ar -mAz structures will be examined

  • Practicing with possibility mood –sA, sAydI; conditional mood –(y)sA

Natural Events and Types of Precipitation:

  • Watching videos and discussing related topics. –mAk yerine, -mAktAnsA, -AcAğInA, -mAsI halinde, AcAğI yerde, -DIğI takdirde, -mAsI durumunda structures will be introduced.

  • Education System.

  • We will read an article containing explanations about the education system in Turkey and discuss the differences between the systems of different countries.

  • Practice of previously learned suffixes will be done.

  • Education System.

  • We will read an article containing explanations about the education system in Turkey and discuss the differences between the systems of different countries.

  • Practice of previously learned suffixes will be done.

Tourism:

  • Talking About Holidays, Accommodation and Places to Visit.

  • Reading an Article About the World’s Most Interesting Accommodation / Hotels. Practice of Reciprocal and Causative Verbs: gül-, gülüş-, güldür-, güldürt-; bul-, buluş-, buldur-, etc.

Classical Turkish Music:

  • Reading articles about classical Turkish instruments and important musicians.

  • Some videos will be sent to discuss the topic further.

  • Practice of compound verbs formed from auxiliary verbs: sabretmek, namaz kılmak, seyreylemek, etc.

  • Participation in the exam is optional. (Those who want to continue to C1 must take this exam.)

  • The exam covers the topics of the 24 weeks.
